Fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains
This past week my husband and I spent the week traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is a wonderful way to view fall foliage in the southeast. The colors were so amazing and there were many overlook areas to stop and take photos. We visited some of the most charming small towns and bought pumpkins and apples at the North Carolina State Farmers Market. It was really a relaxing time for us and I definitely would recommend the Parkway! Be sure and take timeĀ to enjoy this beautiful season.
See you next time!

Pretty Fall Tablescapes
Fall is my favorite time of year. I have been seeing the prettiest table settings out there in blog land. I thought I would share a few of my favorites so far.
This first table setting features touches from nature, such as leaves and gourds. I like the velvet ribbon tied around each napkin.

I love the idea of using a pumpkin as a vase.
And of course, for some of the best tablescape inspiration in bloggy world: Between Naps of the Porch blog. Here is a photo of one of Susan’s tables:
Have a beautiful week!
