I have been a little slow to get started decorating for Christmas this year. I have gotten my mantel done and that’s it.  Yesterday a friend and I went on a Christmas tour of historic homes. They were all decorated for Christmas and that always inspires me to drag out those boxes and get busy! I took a lot of photos on the tour that I will be sharing in the next few days so be sure and check back. So, for now, here is my mantel.
