First for the winner of the giveaway! Congratulations to Barb at Corgi to Quilt by! She is the winner of the beautiful necklace. Please contact me with your info Barb!
If you are a reader of Victoria magazine you are probably familiar with the name Tasha Tudor. She was a beloved children’s book author and illustrator, with over 100 books. She lived a 1830′s style lifestyle, engaging in tasks such as spinning and weaving, cooking on a wood burning stove all the while using antique utensils. I thought I would share two of my favorite books about her: Tasha Tudor’s Cookbook and Tasha Tudor’s Garden.
The Tasha Tudor Cookbook is a very beautiful book. It is filled with Tasha’s delicate and whimsical illustrations and over 80 recipes that she had gathered over her lifetime.
This cookbook also makes a wonderful gift. It is really a treasure.
I also love Tasha Tudor’s Garden. This book has the most amazing photos of Tasha’s extensive gardens. There is a lot of information about her lifestyle that is very interesting.
