Now that there is a hint of spring in the air I am dreaming of porches. In the South we love to spend a lazy afternoon on our porches, add a glass of iced tea and a book and I’m in heaven. I thought I would share some porch inspiration.

One of my favorite porches of all time belongs to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch blog. She features her gorgeous porch throughout the different seasons and is a great source of inspiration. I love the simplicity of this next photo. It makes me long for a quiet morning in the country. I love the sheer drapes!

Of course, if i had this hammock I would never get anything done!

I have always loved any home decor with birds.  My favorite time to shop is early spring, when the home decor shops and the craft stores start putting out their spring goods. I know it’s getting close when Darcy Miller is on Martha Stewart showing her Valentine for the year. They are always so adorable! Martha can never get her to say how many she makes!

I thought I would share these gorgeous bird prints that I found. They feature a colorful bird and bird cage. They make me think of a romantic apartment in Paris.

Aren’t they beautiful? I have decided to carry them in my shop this spring!
